• Security Officer to report on duty fifteen minutes prior to the commencement of his/her
  shift.
• A Security Officer must be familiar with his /her site job Description.
• The security Officer must never report on duty under the influence of intoxicating liquid.
• A Security Officers must never bring intoxicating liquid on client premises.
• A security Officer must never enter any building or office unless it is on the request of a
  client to assist with a security related matter.
• A security Officer must never run errands for client or visitor.
• The Security Officer must never help the client or visitor to unload vehicles.
• A Security officer must never socialize with visitor or entertain guest while on duty.
• A Security Officer must never leave the site until proper relieved and proper handover
  has been completed.
• Security Officer must never allow unauthorized vehicles to park on site.
• A Security Officers must never make fires on client’s premises.
• A Security Officer must never smoke or eat while interacting with clients or visitors.
• A Security Officers must never leave the site to visit shops.
• A Security Officers must never give information concerning client to any strangers arriving
  at guard room.
• A security Officers must never sleep on duty.
• A Security Officers must never switch off night –light in the guard room during the
  hour of darkness.
• A Security Officer must never permits hawkers, door to door sales person, leaflet delivers,
  vagrants and religious zealots to enter client premises.
• A security Officer must never accept foods, beverages or monies from clients or visitors.
• A Security Officer must never accept any invitation by any client to partake in any party,
  Braai, social function whilst they are on duty.

STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURES

• PCM and Z Trading Enterprise ensure that each member of the Security Officers must be registered with PSIRA.
• Security Officer must have minimum grade 10 education
• All Security Officers must be able to communicate in English language.
• All Security Officers must have minimum grade “C”.
• All Security Officers are required to work 12 hour day shift or night Monday to Sunday or
  otherwise specified by client.
• All Security Officers must be dressed in full company uniform when on duty and be in
  possession of all basic equipment.

• Pedestrian and vehicles register/admission control
• Two way radio or cell phone (have airtime at all times)
• Paper Spray
• Fire arm (optional extra requested by client)
• Baton stick

• Black pen and red pen
• Pocket whistle

• PSIRA card or ID card (with Security Officers photo with PSIRA number).
