• Different types and scale of events require different levels of security and this should be
  determined as part of event’s Risk Assessments and detailed in Emergency Management
  plan.
• PCM AND Z TRADING ENTERPRISES plan to have the number of security officers that
  will depend on the number of patrons. The general rule is two security officers for the first
  100 patrons and then one Security Officer for every 100 patrons.
• PCM AND Z TRADING ENTERPRISES Risk Assessments will also inform as to what the
  risk levels are at certain times and certain areas and what type of Security Officers we
  may need to reduce the risk.
• Consult with the client we have a contract to define the role of security Officer, how many
  are needed for how many hours and their general positions within the site.
• The number of security officer staff, their role and the position on site might be determined
  for PCM AND Z TRADING ENTERPRISES by Police and/or Building Surveyor, depend on
  the nature of the event.
• The attitude of Security Personnel should be friendly and professional at all times, with
  the main responsibilities being crowd control and equipment protection.

OTHER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF SECURITY PERSONNEL INCLUDE:

• Assisting emergency services if necessary
• Controlling access to stage or performance area
• Controlling entrances and exits
• Controlling vehicle traffic and marshalling
• Searching for alcohol, drugs and weapons
• Assisting in evacuation procedure.

PCM AND Z TRADING ENTERPRISES will brief all security officers prior to the event that will enable security Officer to do their job effectively.

• PCM AND Z TRADING ENTERPRISES will give detailed of the site/venue layout,
  including entrances, exit, first aid posts and potential hazards.
• PCM AND Z TRADING ENTERPRISES will give clear directions on the managements of
  unacceptable behavior
• Details of emergency evacuations plan, such as a raising alarms, protocols for requesting
  assistance and evacuation procedures.
• Names of key event personnel, emergency service representatives, The UMgungundlovu
  staff, work safe officers etc. who may require and should be given access to the site.
• To check each guard license and qualification before they commence duty.
• PCM AND Z TRADING ENTERPRISES ensure that all security personnel is able to
  communicate with first aiders/emergency services and with each other.
• PCM AND Z TRADING ENTERPRISES will ensure that your event is safe from the
  moment your guests arrives to the time they leave.
